The Cowboys are adding an experienced playmaker to their backfield. Dallas is signing Dalvin Cook to the practice squad. The 29-year-old has rushed for over 6,200 yards with 47 rushing touchdowns during his career. The team has also put together the rest of its practice squad. Dallas has signed a group of 14 players that includes defensive end Carl Lawson, linebacker Nick Vigil and tight end Princeton Fant. The Cowboys also made a move to release defensive lineman Al-Quadin Muhammad. They are gearing up for their season opener on the road against the Cleveland Browns on September 8th.
