The Astros swept the Red Sox after earning a 7-4 win in their series finale from Fenway Park. Framber Valdez was credited with the victory after striking out five batters and allowing four runs, two of them earned, over six innings pitched. Ryan Pressly secured his 29th save of the season after pitching a scoreless bottom of the ninth. Michael Brantley led the way at the plate for the Stros after going two for four with a pair of runs batted in. Houston is now tied atop the AL West at 77-and-58. The Astros return home to host the New York Yankees tomorrow night.
