Astros Top Yankees To Split Series

The Astros split their four-game series against the Yankees after earning a 9-7 win in the finale in the Bronx. J.P. France was credited with the victory after striking out four batters and allowing an unearned run over three and a third innings of relief. Bryan Abreu secured his fourth save of the season after pitching an inning and a third without allowing a run. Jake Meyers slugged a pair of home runs for the 'Stros, while Yordan Alvarez and Martin Maldonado each went deep. Houston is now second in the AL West at 64-and-49. The Astros visit the Baltimore Orioles starting tomorrow.
