The Texas Department of Transportation is announcing the completion of a major freeway ramp on the city's East Side. Contractors opened the new ramp from Loop 410 northbound to I-10 eastbound early Monday morning. Next up, work crews will concentrate on finishing the ramp from I-10 westbound to Loop 410 southbound. The ramps are part of TxDOT's 100-million-dollar project to upgrade the interchange of Loop 410 and I-10.
