The Cowboys are continuing to shape their coaching staff for next season. ESPN is reporting that Dallas is hiring former NFL defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd as the team's new assistant defensive line and defensive quality control coach. Floyd was a first-round draft pick of the Minnesota Vikings in 2013. The 31-year-old recorded 95 tackles and nine-and-a-half sacks during his four-year career. In other news, the team is adding Darian Thompson to the staff as an assistant linebackers and quality control coach. Thompson played four seasons as a safety for the Cowboys from 2018-to-2021.
