The Texans are continuing to build their coaching staff. Houston has hired Bobby Slowik as the team's new offensive coordinator under first-year head coach DeMeco Ryans. Slowik served as the offensive passing game coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers this season. Earlier in the weekend, Houston hired former Arizona Cardinals defensive line coach Matt Burke to be the team's new defensive coordinator. The Texans have also hired former Texas A&M QB Jerrod Johnson away from the Minnesota Vikings as the new quarterbacks coach in addition to Klint Kubiak as the offense's new run game coordinator.
