An embattled San Antonio City Councilman says he will decline his pay during an indefinite leave of absence from his position. Clayton Perry is on a sabbatical following his reported involvement in a hit-and-run crash near his North Side home on November 6th. A city spokeswoman stated on Tuesday that Perry and his temporary replacement, who hasn't been appointed yet, would both be paid the annual salary of more than 45-thousand-dollars. But Perry's office later said he won't take a paycheck until he returns.
