The Astros took a series loss as they head into the All-Star break. Houston fell 4-3 to the Athletics at Minute Maid Park. Rafael Montero took his first loss in relief for Houston, which fell to 59-and-32. Rookie Jeremy Pena and Kyle Tucker each went deep in the losing effort. Pena had a pair of RBI in the losing effort. The Astros remain in first place in the AL West as they sit nine game ahead of the Mariners heading into the break.
