Tesla Gigafactory Opens With Cyber Rodeo

The Tesla Gigafactory in Austin has officially opened. Tesla welcomed throngs of electric car lovers for a party to kick things off last night. The party called a "Cyber Rodeo" inaugurated the new "gigafactory" that is the size of 100 professional soccer fields.

The party featured music, fireworks and an address from C-E-O Elon Musk. "We need a place we can be really big and there's no place like Texas," Musk told the crowd. "This is the largest factory building in the World by volume."

Musk spoke about various Tesla products and endeavors, including the Cybertruck that is expected to be produced at the Austin facility.
