Among the many promises President Trump made to the American people, getting rid of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives was among one of the top priorities. Americans grew sick of the entire ideology flooding into every facet of our life. The idea of DEI forced employers into checking boxes and filling quotas, passing over the right hire to make a diversity hire. In short, it is employment discrimination.

It has all led to issues in the workplace, with underqualified individuals doing jobs they have no business performing. So, President Trump has made strong efforts to rid our society of the idea, signing executive orders that cleanse our systems of it.

But of course, Democrats still exist, who demand this ideology with no true reasoning behind it. You also have the spineless, old guard Republicans who support the idea, because they grew up being told opposing any diversity is "racist." But, for all the slashing President Trump has done, one new poll suggests the idea might be making a bipartisan comeback.

The latest Bentley University-Gallup Business in Society survey found almost three-quarters, or about 72-percent, of Americans believe "promoting DEI should be a priority for businesses." Which seems funny, considering the American people laid down a mandate to get rid of it.

Amy Curtis with Town Hall says, as is the case with most polls, the devil is in the details.

"That consists of 95-percent Democrats in support, and just 37-percent of Republicans...so to say it is bipartisan is entirely dishonest," she says.

This is what polls do though, especially in election season. In some instances, they are just wrong. But in many others, they manipulate the numbers for fundraising purposes, to drive down turnout on one side, or survey one side of the aisle mostly.

But polls are an off shoot of the media essentially, and the media is controlled by Democrats. In an election cycle, they will do just about anything to help themselves stay in power. That includes propagandizing via framing through the media.

"There is not a Republican majority anywhere in this poll...in fact, 59-percent of Republicans say it is untrue...so, a majority of Republicans still reject this premise," says Curtis. "But what the media is doing is what they have always done, they did it with the polls in 2024."

The media in 2024 ran all kinds of polls, some from pollsters you have never heard of, saying Kamala Harris was a lock for the presidency. They said Trump would lose Iowa handily. None of which came to fruition, in fact it was the opposite. But Americans do not care. They just scroll their TikTok, see what their favorite influencer said, believe it without research, and live in blissful ignorance.

Which is essentially what the Democrats are banking on with this poll. Americans being too stupid to think for themselves.

"The reality is far different...what they are doing is creating a narrative, hoping people will fall for it, and support DEI," Curtis says.

This is yet another stab at another woke era by the far Left, since they did not get their way last time. Buckle up, too. Curtis says woke 2.0 is going to be a much more violent roller coaster than Woke 1.0, should Democrats gain back any semblance of power.

But to gain that, they first have to gain respect. Fortunately, they hold none.
