The Texans stayed unbeaten in the preseason, defeating the Cowboys 20-14 on Saturday. Tyrod Taylor again started at quarterback, guiding Houston to an opening-drive touchdown. Mark Ingram led the backfield, rushing for 24 yards and a touchdown. The Texans defense forced four takeaways, recording a fumble recovery and three interceptions. Cooper Rush threw two touchdowns for Dallas as he completed 10 of his 12 pass attempts. Ben DiNucci struggled in the second half, throwing three picks and taking two sacks.
