The Rangers made a furious comeback, but fell 9-8 in 11 innings to the Mainers in Arlington. Texas scored five runs in the bottom of the ninth, highlighted by a Jason Martin three-run bomb, to send it to extras. Brock Holt hit a RBI single in the 11th for the Rangers, who have lost their last three. Joe Barlow took his first loss, allowing two runs in relief. They hit the road to start a series with the Red Sox tonight.
