Today marks two years since 23 people were killed in a mass shooting at an El Paso Walmart. The city will commemorate the tragedy with a bell tolling ceremony, Healing Garden, and a luminaria display tonight at Ponder Park. The Border Network For Human Rights will also hold an event at Ponder Park, with U.S. Representative Veronica Escobar as a featured speaker. The suspect in the shooting, 23-year-old Patrick Crusius, has yet to stand trial.
