UTSA Team Working On Lunar Rocket Pad

A team of geologists at UTSA are working to develop a launching and landing pad on the moon. The university is the only Texas school working on the NASA project. The lunar pad is to be paved with bricks made from melted soil from the moon's surface. The idea is to keep rockets from kicking up huge clouds of dust as they take off and land. The moon has no atmosphere, so a dust cloud would spread over miles before settling.
