Mavericks Pull Out Victory Over Nets

The Mavericks are defying the odds by pulling out a 113-109 win over the Brooklyn Nets in Dallas. The victory not only completes Dallas' 2-0 season sweep of the Eastern Conference powerhouse but increases the Mavs lead over the Lakers and Trail Blazers to one game. The Mavs were without Kristaps Porzingis. Luka Doncic only made two second-half field goals but finished with 24 points. Tim Hardaway Jr. added 23 for the Mavs. Kyrie Irving poured in 45 points, while Kevin Durant was limited to 20 for Brooklyn, which lost its season-high fourth straight.
