Two Texas Bases Could Help House Immigrant Kids

Two Texas military bases could become sites where unaccompanied immigrant kids are temporarily housed. Yesterday, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services requested assistance from the Department of Defense to use Fort Bliss and Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland to house the children. DOD spokesperson John Kirby said the HHS request is still being evaluated.
