Lt. Governor Dan Patrick Slams Mark Cuban's National Anthem Decision

Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick is blasting a decision by Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban to no longer play the National Anthem before home games.

Patrick said the decision "is a slap in the face to every American & an embarrassment to Texas. Sell the franchise & some Texas Patriots will buy it. We ARE the land of free & the home of the brave."

The NBA later announced that all of its teams will play the national anthem before games hours. The league issued a statement saying with NBA teams welcoming back fans to their arenas, all teams will continue to comply with the longstanding league policy.

Monday was the first Dallas home game with fans in attendance. Some players have protested social injustice during the national anthem.
