Astros Edge Rangers

Kyle Tucker's two-run homer in the second inning was all the Astros needed in a 2-1 win over the Rangers in Houston. Framber Valdez struck out 11 over six-and-a-third innings of one-run ball for his fourth win. Brooks Raley closed it out for his first save. Jordan Lyles allowed just three hits and two runs over seven innings, but fell to 1-and-5 with the tough-luck loss. Eli White singled in the lone run for Texas in the seventh.
