Texas State Faculty Member Tests Positive For Coronavirus

A Texas State University faculty member is positive for coronavirus. The patient, who was last on campus March 9th and 11th, did not have any symptoms at those times and got sick during spring break. This weekend, the San Marcos Corridor News reported that school officials say the patient is recovering at home in Austin and is progressing well.  TSU chief medical officer Doctor Emilio Carranco says the risk of transmission to others on campus from this case is very low.
