The Astros scored three runs in the seventh inning and two more in the eighth on their way to an 8-6 win over the Rays in Houston. Yuli Gurriel belted a two-run homer and George Springer knocked in a pair of runs for the Astros, who have won six in-a-row and nine of their last 10 overall. Will Harris picked up the win in relief. Ji-Man Choi and Willy Adames hit two-run homers for Tampa Bay, which dropped its fourth straight. The Rays, however, remain just one game behind Oakland for the second AL wild card spot. Diego Castillo fell to 2-and-8 with the loss.
