Tropical Storm Barry Affecting Sunday ICE Raids

US-IMMIGRATION-ICE

Some of this weekend's planned immigration raids will not be happening due to Tropical Storm Barry, according to the Department of Homeland Security. In a statement, DHS said ICE and CBP are concerned about the potential impact of the storm and in the interest of safety will be canceling their immigration enforcement in portions of Louisiana that are under a state of emergency. On Sunday, the Trump administration is planning widespread ICE roundups in nearly a dozen cities around the country.
