The Mariners slugged five home runs to back a complete game by Mike Leake in a 14-1 win over the Astros in Seattle. Leake allowed six hits and one run for his fifth win of the season. Edwin Encarnacion and Mac Williamson hit three-run homers, Domingo Santana and Tom Murphy hit two-run shots, and Kyle Seager pounded a solo blast for Seattle. The M's had lost four in-a-row and 16 of their previous 19 games. Brad Peacock gave up two runs in five frames to take the loss for Houston. The bullpen surrendered 12 more runs. Tyler White had a sac-fly in the first for the Astros.
