White House Asserts Executive Privilege Over Mueller Report

President Trump

President Trump is asserting executive privilege in an effort to seal Special Counsel Robert Mueller's unredacted final report. A statement from the White House accuses the Democrat-controlled House Judiciary Committee of a "blatant abuse of power" by seeking the full report in a subpoena. The committee is considering whether Attorney General Bill Barr should be held in contempt of Congress. New York Democrat Jerry Nadler accused the Trump administration of unprecedented obstruction.
