DHS Boosts Support At Southern Border

MEXICO-US-BORDER

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen is boosting support at the southern border. Nielson said she is deploying another 750 U.S. Customs personnel to the border. She argued that the crisis at the border is worsening and also accused Congress of failing to act. Last week, President Trump threatened to shut down the border if Mexico does not act to stop migrants headed to the U.S. He also warned Mexico to halt migrant caravans from Central America.
