A domestic argument in a northwest side apartment early Monday led to a man being stabbed and the female suspect barricading herself inside the apartment, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
A dispute between a woman in her thirties and a man in his fifties spun quickly out of control at the Retreat Apartment Homes in the 6100 block of Whitby, which is off Babcock Rd. north of the Medical Center, about 1 this morning.
Police say the woman pulled a knife and stabbed the man at least one time.
The woman then barricaded herself inside the apartment. Police negotiators were called to the scene.
The man was rushed to the hospital with wounds which are not believed to be life threatening.
