For the second time in a week, a fatal accident has been caused by a wrong way driver, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police arrived at the scene of a crash on I-10 near Salado Creek on the east side about 3 AM. When they got there, they found an 18 wheeler engulfed in flames.
Officers were told that a car driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-10 slammed head on its the big rig.
Several vehicles were involved in the crash.Just last Wednesday morning, a woman driving the wrong way down Highway 151 near Sea World died when she slammed her car head-on into a construction truck.
