Mayor Ron Nirenberg says the city is prepared for the winter storm. The mayor discussed preparations during an Facebook Live feed on Monday night.
City offices and facilities, including all libraries, senior centers, community centers, parks facilities animal shelter and municipal court will be closed.
Garbage and recycling collection scheduled for Tuesday has been cancelled.
The collection schedule will be adjusted as follows:
- Monday collection moves to Wednesday
- Tuesday and Wednesday collection moves to Thursday
- Thursday collection moves to Friday
- Friday collection moves to Saturday
All public meetings scheduled for Tuesday will be postponed and rescheduled.
