Firefighters were called to a far north side neighborhood at about 3:30 Thursday afternoon for what quickly became a two alarm fire that badly damaged three homes and threatened a fourth, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The fire started in a home on Crystal Glade, which is off Bulverde Road, and quickly spread to two other homes.
More than two dozen fire units responded to the alarm, with more in reserve.
No word on how the fire started.
