According to reporting from ESPN, Spurs associate head coach Sean Sweeney is in the finaly stages of an agreement to become the head coach of the Orlando Magic, after they fired Jamahl Mosley.
Sweeney, who is wildly credited with the Spurs defensive improvement over last year, is expected to remain with San Antonio through the end of this season.
The Spurs are set to take on reigning NBA Champions OKC Thunder in game 7 of the Western Conference Finals on Saturday. A victory could would send them to the NBA Finals against the NYC Nicks.
