Have Democrats Really Found Someone Too Extreme For Their Liking?

The Maine primaries are next week, and while U.S. Senate candidate Graham Platner is the clear favorite for the Democrats, he is not a favorite for many in the Democratic party.

"Democrats have landed themselves in a really tough spot where they are now in a position to be elevating this guy who had a Nazi tattoo that we knew about months ago" said Kristen Cianci, northeast regional communications director for the RNC.

Platner's Nazi tatto and radical views, have created a Dems divide.

"We're seeing a kind of fracturing right now, where we have people stepping up and standing behind him because pushing a leftist agenda is their number one priority, everything else be damned" Cianci told KTRH, "And then we have some people with some common sense coming forward, having serious concerns."

It has raised the question, have Democrats really found someone that is too extreme for their liking? Even for the radical progressive left?

"At this point Democrats are tearing each other apart trying to figure out where their own line of morality lies" noted Cianci, "Are they going to stand by this guy who has said some really horrific things, who has a Nazi tattoo?"

We shall see. If Platner wins as expected, he will face longtime Republican, and anti-Trump incumbent, Susan Collins in November.
