In what some are calling an act of treason, U.S. Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash. is under fire for speaking with foreign countries about getting oil to Cuba, defying the the Trump administration's U.S. sanctions.
"I have called these sanctions an economic bombing of the infrastructure of Cuba" Jayapal said recently in Seattle, following a taxpayer paid trip to Cuba.
Florida has become home to many Cuban's who escaped the violent, communist regime, and it's why Republican U.S. Senator Moody says Jayapal's actions are unacceptable.
"It further demonstrates the cancer that the Democratic party has now" Moody said on Fox, "This anti-American contingent, that thinks that this part of their job, to work against the policy of the United States."
In a statement to Fox News Digital, White House spokesperson Olivia Wales said, ""The Democrats continue to show Americans who they really are – the America Last party who sip margaritas with terrorists, advocate for illegal alien criminals, and undermine the United States to aid a failed, communist regime. Pramila Jayapal’s actions are shameful from a sitting Congresswoman clearly suffering from TDS [Trump Derangement Syndrome]"
Many conservatives erupted on social media, and are now calling for action.
"I think there needs to be a full investigation, whether or not she has crossed a serious line, to conspire against American sanctions and American foreign policy" noted Sen. Moody.
As one expert pointed out, who's side is she on?
