Today is May 1st. But for the left, it's 'May Day', and another day to protest. They're calling it an 'economic blackout'.
"I really don't understand the purpose of this protest, unless they're just professional protestors who like to protest" said Republican strategist, Jeannette Hoffman.
Instead of 'No Kings', this time the radical left is opting for 'no school', 'no work', and 'no shopping'.
"Shutting down your own communities economy, keeping kids out of school, denying workers a paycheck for a day, that does nothing to send a message to the White House" Hoffman told KTRH.
But, they keep trying. They even have one planned for here in Houston.
"This is pretty much the only tactic they have, but we've seen this for the past several years now. There really is no meaningful momentum behind it" noted Hoffman, "These are paid organizers, but it doesn't have any meaningful outcome at the ballot box."
