Former FBI Director James Comey has once again been indicted by the DOJ. The indictment relates to his controversial "86/47" seashell post.
This marks the second time James Comey has been indicted, and follows an hour long interview of Comey by Secret Service in D.C. Prosecutors say an arrest warrant was also issued by the grand jury.
It looks like that warrant wasn't necessary however, as Comey turned himself over to police Wednesday afternoon, and in a short court hearing, was formally arraigned on charges of making threats against the president, and transmitting a threat in interstate commerce.
Comey was reportedly informed during the hearing that each charge carries a meximum penalty of 5 years if he's convicted.
Comey's lawyers say he will try a First Amendment defense. He is expected to turn himself into federal authorities on Wednesday.
