U.S. Envoys Head to Pakistan for 2nd Round of Peace Talks

U.S. Envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are headed to Pakistan for another round of talks. Vice President JD Vance is not expected to join.

Meanwhile, the U.S. blockade remains in place, with American forces reportedly turning back dozens of vessels as pressure mounts in the Strait of Hormuz.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth warned Friday that the U.S. military “will shoot to destroy” any Iranian ships that are laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz. He added that the Iranian regime has a “historic chance to make a serious deal” and the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports is “tightening by the hour.”

Trump announced Thursday that a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon has been extended for three weeks following a "historic" meeting at the White House.
