Just like he did yesterday, President Donald Trump has issued another warning to Iran, and threatened more military strikes if peace talks fail over the Strait of Hormuz.
"The Iranians don’t seem to realize they have no cards, other than a short term extortion of the World by using International Waterways. The only reason they are alive today is to negotiate! President DONALD J. TRUMP" he said in a post on Truth Social.
The President reached a ceasefire deal with Iran on Tuesday, saying the U.S. would pause the "bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks." He also added that the deal is subject to Iran agreeing to the "complete, immediate and safe opening" of the Strait of Hormuz, a key waterway in the Middle East that is vital to the global flow of oil.
