You're hearing a lot about gas prices right now all of the sudden. But as one political commentator points out, and you may not know it. You are also getting 'played' by the mainstream media.
"Now, it's like it's a national crisis, a national emergency, and it's all Trump's fault" said oil and gas industry expert and consultant, David Blackmon, "It's ridiculous, it's absurd, but it's just part of life as a Republican, and of course in the oil and gas business."
It's the business of the so-called 'legacy' media that's the problem. What a night and day difference from the coverage that was fed when Joe Biden raised gas prices to record highs.
"Actually, it got really close to $5 a gallon at one point" Blackmon told KTRH, "The focus on all the stories you would see, would be the fact that the Biden administration is doing everything it can to lower gas prices, it's taking all of this oil out of the SPR."
The same Strategic Petroleum Reserve that Trump wisely filled before he left office.
Now, it's media manipulation on gas prices. $4 a gallon is a relief under Biden, but bad under Trump.
