Police are investigating after a UTSA student found a camera inside a phony smoke detector in her University Oaks apartment. UTSA officials notified students living on campus about the situation on Thursday. Staff members are checking smoke detectors on properties owned by UTSA. The school doesn't own University Oaks, but the property's staff is also testing smoke detectors in all its occupied units. Police are asking the FBI's San Antonio office to help find where the camera came from and who put it there.
