A team of scientists in Scotland has come up with a way to use artificial intelligence to kill cockroaches. Scientists at a university in Edinburgh used A.I. to create a device automated with machine vision that can accurately detect cockroaches and "neutralize," in other words, "kill" them from nearly four feet away. It's not quite ready for household use though because lasers can damage not only cockroaches, but also your eyes. A report on the sophisticated roach-killing device was published in last week's edition of the journal Oriental Insects.
