The first trailer is being released for a Winnie the Pooh inspired horror film. "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey" follows Pooh and Piglet as they go on a murderous rampage after Christopher Robin leaves them to go to college. The two characters turn feral without any human influence and hunt down humans near their home of the Hundred Acre Woods. The film was shot over ten days near the Ashdown Forest in England. "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey" is set to release later this year. According to Forbes, this is only possible because A.A. Milne’s original Winnie-the-Pooh book has finally lapsed into the public domain. Until recently, Disney has retained control over the franchise for several decades, ever since adapting the original books into animated films.
