San Antonio Gas Prices Take a Big Drop

We're getting a November break at hte gas pump, with San Antonio prices down to an average of $2.42, down seven cents just in the past week, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

The local price is still about a quarter a gallon higher than this time last year, due largely to tariffs, and concerns over the possible sanctions against Iran, which would affect that country's oil exports.

But prices are expected to continue drifting downward, barring any major international incidents.  Gas prices usually bottom out in late January, and then begin their upward trend into the summer driving season.
