Rangers Rout Red Sox Behind Mazara

Rangers

Nomar Mazara hit a three-run homer to cap a six-run fourth inning and the Rangers went on to rout the Red Sox 11-5 in the first of a four-game series at Globe Life Park.  Mazara also had an RBI double for Texas, which had lost three of its previous four games.  Mike Minor pitched six innings of three-run ball for the win.  David Price was pelted for nine runs, including seven earned, in just three-and-two-thirds frames to fall to 2-and-4.  Mookie Betts went 2-for-4 with a home run, a two-run double and a sac-fly for Boston.  The Red Sox have dropped two of their last three games.
