Two Texas Department of Public Safety officers under investigation for their actions during the Uvalde school shooting are being suspended.
DPS says the officers are among five being investigated by the inspector general's office to determine if their response to the shooting violated department policy.
The actions of law enforcement during the incident have come under heavy scrutiny at the local, state, and federal level.
More than 300 officers responded to the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School, including 91 DPS troopers.
