Western states that rely on the Colorado River for water will have to do more with less thanks to the ongoing drought.
The federal government has declared a Tier 2 shortage for the river thanks to water levels dropping on Lake Mead.
Arizona will face the brunt of the water cuts as it'll lose just over 20% of its annual allotment.
Nevada and Mexico will also face cuts starting in January. However, California is being spared as of now.
