Judges in Florida and Kentucky have temporarily blocked abortion bans in those states from taking effect.
In Florida, a judge issued a 'temporary statewide injunction' on a bill that effectively bans abortion after 15 weeks. The ban would have taken effect at midnight Friday, July 1st.
In Kentucky, a judge blocked the state's 'trigger ban' on abortion in nearly all cases, which went into effect when the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last week.
