The House has voted to remove several Confederate statues from the U.S. Capitol building.
The bill passed by a 285-120 vote on Tuesday, calling for the removal of statues of figures like Jefferson Davis, as well as a bust of former Supreme Court Justice Roger Taney.
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said "It's time to remove these symbols of slavery, segregation and sedition from these halls".
A similar bill passed the House last year but stalled in the Senate.
