Senator Mitch McConnell is more open to the idea of a second stimulus package.
The Senate Majority Leader said another round of direct payments was a possibility, saying "I think the people who have been hit the hardest are people who make about $40,000 a year or less."
While the House has pushed for another stimulus package, Senate Republicans have been reluctant to approve more spending. McConnell says he'll introduce a bill when the Senate returns from recess on July 20th.
