The October 15th Presidential debate that was set to take place at the University of Michigan how now been moved to the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami, Florid.
In a letter to the Commission on Presidential Debates University of Michigan President Mark Schlissel alluded that the school was backing out over possible Coronavirus concerns, adding that due to the"scale and complexity of work to ensure a safe and healthy fall... and the public health guidelines in our state, we feel it is not feasible for us to safely host the debate."
Meantime, The Biden campaign is agreeing to three presidential debates and criticizing the Trump camp for seeking more. Jen O'Malley Dillon, former VP Joe Biden's campaign manager, said President Trump is falling behind in the polls and is desperate to change the subject. She also warned the Trump camp against trying to influence or dictate who moderates debates. Dillon noted that the Biden camp will accept and participate in the debate schedule of the nonpartisan Commission on Presidential debates.
The commission plans to sponsor three presidential debates and one vice presidential debate in the fall.
