Researchers at the University of Iowa and Iowa State are working on a new, longer-lasting flu vaccine. The researchers are proposing a universal vaccine that would protect people for years to replace annual flu shots.  They say this new vaccine would protect against new flu strands going around that could cause a health pandemic.
