Senator Ted Cruz ripped Democrats over the treatment of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. During a hearing today, the Texas Republican called it one of the saddest chapters in the history of the Senate. He said Kavanaugh's good name has been dragged through the mud. Kavanaugh loudly rejected any allegations of sexual assault or serious misconduct.
