A spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said today that Iran will begin uranium enrichment if it withdraws from a nuclear deal with major powers.Following the U.S. withdrawal from the 2015 deal, Russia, China, Germany, Britain, and France are still trying to salvage the accord.Israel is widely believed to be the Middle East’s only nuclear power but has never confirmed or denied that it has a nuclear arsenal.Do you feel this announcement is at least in part an effort to pressure the remaining signatories to preserve the 2015 deal?  How will the U.S. respond if Iran starts an enrichment program?
